This fish is popular among aquarists for it's odd shape, large size, and a predatory personality. Silver arowanas grow to about 2 foot 11'. and need a minimum 240 gallon tank to survive.
Behavior
This fish will get along with other large fish, such as a tiger shovelnose catfish. NEVER put this fish in a community tank.
Feeding
Arowana have mouths designed to eat food at the surface of the tank, so insects and larvae make good treats.
